RoadActive Suspension (RAS) manufactures and distributes an easy-to-install tension coil spring that attach to the rear leaf springs of any pickup truck or van. RAS works to strengthen the existing leaf spring by engaging proportionate to force applied, converting the traditional "passive" spring into a more desirable mechanical "active" suspension system. Improve load handling, ride quality, and stability with your vehicle by adding a Roadactive Suspension to your truck or van. The Roadactive Suspension consists of a set of two very powerful, variable rated coil tension springs that assist the rear leaf springs by holding them in their original bowed position. When a strain is applied to the leaf springs from a load or vehicle weight shift, the RAS comes into action to immediately absorb the force of the load. The greater the strain, the more corrective counter assistance force is applied from the RAS unit. On cornering, RAS reduces body roll by supporting the springs which are taking the increased load. By not allowing these springs to flatten out, the vehicle corners more level with greater contact of all four tires to the road. Improved traction translates to better control and handling.

Standard
Our Standard kit is best for trucks that experience squat of less than two inches when loaded, and/or a tongue weight of 600lbs or less. This kit is ideal for the everyday driver looking to improve overall ride quality and stability. The Standard kit will not harden your ride, with or without a load.

Heavy Duty
Our HD kit is best for trucks that experience squat of +2-3 inches when loaded, and/or a tongue weight of 600lbs or more. This kit is idea for three quarter ton and one ton trucks. We also recommend the HD kit for trucks that tow or carry heavy loads. The HD kit will not harden your ride, with or without a load.

Overview
The RAS kit includes an easy to install spring for each rear leaf spring that is fully assembled right out of the box. RAS is designed to strengthen the rear leaf springs for towing or hauling without negatively affecting unloaded ride quality. This kit will reduce rear bounce and squat when loaded while significantly improving stability, handling and performance at all times. Estimated install time is 1 hour.
